KL Rahul | KXIP captain: We have a lot of experiences like Anil, Andy, and Jonty. We have Gayle and Maxi and seniors who have kept it positive. We just haven’t turned it around in the big moments that’s why we are at the bottom of the table. Jordan comes in for Cottrell, who has a niggle and might miss out on a couple of games.
Dinesh Karthik | KKR captain: The wicket looks dry so we’ll have a bat first. As the tournament progresses we’ll get the right batting order, but it worked well in the last game. Mavi has a few niggles so Prasidh comes in for him.

Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) Batting
Rahul Tripathi and Shubman Gill get in to lead KKR. But soon Shami dismissed Tripathi who makes a great impact in the match against CSK. In the following over Arshdeep Singh dismissed Nitish Rana via run out for 2 runs.
At the end of the powerplay, KKR scored 25 runs for 2 wicket loss. Eoin Morgan joins hands with Gill to lead KKR from the dangerous position. At the end of 10th over KKR scored 60 runs for 2 wicket loss.
In the mid of 11th over Ravi Bishnoi dismissed the dangerous batsman Morgan while scoring 24 runs. KKR skipper Dinesh Karthik gets in to join hands and lead the KKR. DK starts to make massive shots which is much needed at this time.
With a six and back to back boundaries KKR skipper DK reached his half-century. While Gill got dismissed by a run out after scoring 57 runs off 47 deliveries. Russell who is expected to make massive innings got dismissed while scoring just 5 runs.
DK while attempting a run back at the final delivery got dismissed after scoring 58 runs from 29 deliveries. With an impressive inning from the skipper, KKR scored 164 runs for 6 wicket loss.
Kings XI Punjab(KXIP) Batting
KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal get in to crease to lead KXIP. KL Rahul and Agarwal lead KXIP with an impressive bat work as KXIP scored 47 runs for no wicket loss at the end of the powerplay.
Though KXIP didn’t lose any wicket they still lag behind the required run rate. Finally, Prasidh got dismissed while scoring 56 runs from 39 deliveries. KXIP gets into the struggle after losing their aggressive batsman.
At the end of 15th over KXIP scored 117 runs for 1 wicket loss. KXIP is still a bit behind the required run rate. Pooran who is expected to make a massive gameplay but soon dismissed while scoring 16 runs.
