In the followed over Dwarshuis dismissed D Arcy Short and loads pressure over Hobart Hurricanes. Peter Handscomb and Colin Ingram join hands and in pressure to make a much-needed partnership after losing a couple of wickets earlier.
The duo builds the much-needed partnership and drags Hurricanes to score 28 runs for 2 wicket loss at the end of the first 5 overs.
Sydney Sixers is in need to break this dangerous combo and seeks for its all possible way. Steve OKeefe finally dismissed skipped Handscomb for 24 runs and breaks the partnership.
On the other hand, Colin Ingram stands with his peak form and bags the possible runs for the team. At the end of the 10th over Hobart Hurricanes scored 72 runs for 3 wicket loss.
Ingram makes use of the 15 th over bowled by Steve OKeefe and scored 19 runs off the over and pushed teams total to 115 runs for 4 wicket loss.
The long fight of the Ingram comes to an end after scoring 55 runs off 42 deliveries. With off-cutter along with a bit of width, Christian dismissed Ingram. Tim David continued the lead and scored lead Hurricanes. Tim scored 22 runs off the 19th over and dismissed while scoring 58 runs while two deliveries left of the innings.
Hobart Hurricanes scored 178 runs for 8 wicket loss at the end of the 20 over.

James Vince gets in to join hands with Edwards. Though Strikers loses their first wicket in the first over they managed to score 42 runs for 1 wicket loss at the end of the first 5 over. Hobart Hurricanes are in need to break the partnership to place them ahead in the victory race.
At the end of the 10th over Sixers scored 85 runs for 1 wicket loss. Faulkner finally in the 13th over dismissed James Vince after scoring 67 runs. In the following over Riley Meredith dismissed Jack Edwards while scoring 47 runs.
Sydney Sixers bowlers dismissed the well-settled batsmen of the Hurricanes. After the two major wickets, Hurricanes struggle to score runs. Hurricanes lose wickets in a frequent interval and scored 162 runs for 6 wicket loss at the end of the 20th over.
Hurricanes seal the BBL opener easily in the end by beating Sixers by 16 runs.

It wasn’t an ideal start, but the openers are good players but that happens sometimes. We batted well enough in the end, and our bowling did extremely well to get us through. A lot of new guys in our group who have really bonded well together and have contributed together as a team tonight.
