Chennai Super Kings faces another massive blow as Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of IPL 2020. Dwayne Bravo plays as an all-rounder for Chennai Super Kings, where he bats right-handed and is a pace bowler.
Bravo Ruled out of IPL 2020
He has been playing for CSK since 2011, after starting his career with Mumbai Indians in 2008. He played for Gujarat Lions in 2016-17. The senior all-rounder suffered an injury during Chennai’s match against Delhi on October 17 and was only able to bowl 3 overs out of his 4-over quota.
On Tuesday, Chennai CEO K Viswanathan told PTI that “Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the IPL due to a groin injury.”
“Bravo seems to have a right groin injury, obviously it was serious enough to keep him from coming back to the field, he’s just really disappointed that he was unable to bowl the final over… it’d take a few days or a couple of weeks (to recover).” – @SPFleming7 🦁💛 #Yellove pic.twitter.com/Oo8ekicsXr

Chennai Super Kings faces loads of trouble from the very first beginning of the IPL 2020. Earlier CSK key players Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh have been withdrawn from the IPL 2020 amid personal reasons.
CSK lands in trouble after their pullback and many rumours have been started to spread after Raina’s announcement. Soon CSK allrounder Raina makes an official statement and puts pulls stops for the rumours.
Already CSK’s possibilities of entering playoff have been in a great question, adding to that Bravo’s injury makes it even worse. But still, MS Dhoni-led CSK has the possibility to enter the playoff in IPL 2020 if this happens.
Bravo in IPL 2020
Bravo has played 6 out of Chennai’s 10 matches at the Dream11 IPL 2020. After missing out on the first few matches due to a similar niggle he picked up at the CPL, Bravo has taken six wickets at an economy of 8.57.
