Rajat Manohar Patidar, popularly known as Rajat Patidar is an Indian Cricketer born on 1st June 1993 in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Patidar made his debut in Baroda vs Madhya Pradesh match at Vadodara, 30 Oct 2015.
Patidar impressed everyone by scoring a half-century and a century in his first two innings. The young aggressive batsman still waits to make his International debut for Team India.

Rajat Patidar Domestic Career
- Rajat Patidar played at the U-19 level and U-22 level for the Madhya Pradesh cricket team.
- He made his first-class debut on 30 October in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy.
- Patidar impressed everyone by scoring a half-century and a century in his first two innings.
- He played his first List-A match against Saurashtra on December 11, 2015.
- He made his Twenty20 debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017–18 Zonal T20 League on 8 January 2018.
- In August 2019, he was named in the India Blue team’s squad for the 2019–20 Duleep Trophy.
IPL Career
In February 2021, Patidar was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) for his base price of Rs.20 Lakhs in the IPL 2021 auction held in Chennai.
- He made his IPL debut on April 9, 2021, against Mumbai Indians.
- Rajat Patidar joined RCB in IPL 2022 as a replacement for the injured Luvnith Sisodia for the price of INR 20 Lakh.
- Rajat Patidar scored his first IPLcentury in the Eliminator game against LSG on May 25, 2022.
- Rajat Patidar was retained by RCB ahead of the IPL 2023 Auction and was expected to make an impact in the season.
- He was ruled out of the season after failing to recover from his Heel injury.
- He was retained by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the IPL 2024.
- During the first match of the IPL 2024 tournament played between CSK and RCB on March 22, Rajat Patidar was sent back to the dugout for a duck.

- During the match against Mumbai on April 11, Rajat smashed his first fifty of the season at Wankhede Stadium, but his efforts went in vain as RCB lost the match.
- He smashed 52 runs during the match against Kolkata Knight Riders played on April 21, but the side suffered defeat having only one victory out of the matches they played in the tournament.
- Rajat was impressive with his fifty on 20 deliveries during the reverse fixtures against SRH played on April 25 where he hit four back-to-back sixes on Markande’s over.
International Career
Test Career
- Rajat Patidar made his Test debut during the second Test match of England’s Tour of India in 2024.
- During the England tour of India 2024, Patidar was named as the replacement player for Virat Kohli for the first two matches.
- He made his Test debut on 2 February 2024 in the second match of the series, scoring 32 and 9 runs in the first and second innings, respectively.
- In the 3rd test of the series which India won by 434 runs, he scored 5 and 0 in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively.
ODI Career
Rajat Patidar was named in the ODI squad for the South Africa tour of India in 2022 and the New Zealand tour of India in 2023. But he didn’t get a chance to bat on both occasions.
- He made his ODI debut during the 3rd ODI match in India’s tour of South Africa 2023 which was played on December 21, 2023. He scored 22 runs on 16 deliveries in the series decider where India won by 78 runs.
