Player of the Match
Chris Lynn | Adelaide Strikers
It was a little bit of a tricky wicket but I was able to take the game on. Got a couple in my zone and I was able to carry on. On a wicket like this, you’ve got to take the game on in the powerplay. It’s good viewing, we put out a good quality game tonight. Wanted to really try and kill the game, that’s why we took the surge.
Like the brand of cricket we’re playing, we’re trying to drive the game forward. The big thing for us is to keep the things we’ve been doing well for the last two weeks and not change it.
Two leggies, you don’t have to bowl all 8 overs of leg-spin, it’s just there as an option. We’ve also got a finger spinner, spin it to win it for the Strikers. If it doesn’t work, well, it doesn’t. I’ve always said that if you miss out, you’re one game closer to being the man of the match. Keep scoring runs and enjoying every facet of the game.
