Man of the Match

Bat: 78 runs off 48 balls
Today was a free swing for me. With Josh Inglis and Mitch Marsh coming back, thought my time at the top was for just a couple of games but thanks to the management for sticking with me. The plan was to target the shorter boundaries and hit sixes which worked. Was a bit funky at the start and then settled down.
I had a bit of tightness in the quad – unfortunately, my history isn’t great there. So took the safe option with a game a couple of days away [on not coming out to the field in the second innings].
