Though Perth Scorchers makes a slow and steady start Siddle in the fourth over dismissed Nick Hobson and draws the first blood of the batting team. Fawad Ahmed soon in the 6th over dismissed Kurtis Patterson for 25 runs and makes the wicket count to 2 while Perth Scorchers scored 33 runs.

It didn’t start well today, but the last couple of overs were good. It’s been tough, I really wanted to play, but missed half the tournament with a fractured rib. I wanted to contribute to the team, but it hasn’t been an ideal season for me so far.
Hopefully, we’ll win the next two games and get into the finals. I dived at the boundary in a T20 game before the tournament, it hurt badly and my arm got swollen, it’s hurting, it’s hard on me, can’t bend too much, can’t put too much pressure on my thigh. Trying my best, looking to do well for the team.
