India’s Asia Cup 2023 Squad Release Date: The much-awaited announcement regarding India’s squad for Asia Cup 2023 is expected to be released on August 20 by the BCCI.
The 16th edition of the Asia Cup tournament is scheduled to play between August – September and will be jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Asia Cup 2023 will also be the first of its kind to be co-hosted by multiple countries.
Four matches of the Asia Cup 2023 will be played in Pakistan while the remaining nine matches of the tournament will be played in Sri Lanka. Earlier, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal announced a 17-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 series.

Before heading to the Asia Cup 2023, team India under Jasprit Bumrah will travel to Ireland to play 3 match T20I series between August 18 – 23. Team India will complete their first match of the tour before August 20 which is the date BCCI expected to release the India squad for Asia Cup 2023.
The performance of some key players particularly Jasprit Bumrah in the 1st Ireland T20I will be noted before finalizing India’s squad for Asia Cup 2023.

The Asia Cup 2023 will begin on August 30 with the final match scheduled to play on September 17 at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
