Royal Challengers Banglore(RCB) led by Virat Kohli has a huge fan base in-spite of their performance in IPL. Recently RCB have removed their profile pictures and also various posts from social media accounts. At first fan thought the page may get hacked until the remaining social medias also shows the same. That leads fan to fluster as they haven’t gave any updates previously regarding this.
RCB Players too get shocked
Not only fans comment on this, very own RCB players including Virat Kohli tweet that “Posts disappear and the captain isn’t informed” that makes fans to get puzzled as they are out of the new updates. Not only Kohli, earlier AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal too express their excitement for the updates
Yuzvendra Chahal : “Arey @rcbtweets, what googly is this? Where did your profile pic and Instagram posts go?” Chahal tweeted on his way back from New Zealand.
Arey @rcbtweets, what googly is this? 🤔 Where did your profile pic and Instagram posts go? 😳
The famous photo sharing platform Instagram shows ‘nil’ posts as they have deleted photos in that. This calamity day comes after they signed Muthoot Fincorp as their title sponsor for IPL 2020. RCB on Tuesday announced a three-year partnership with Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, a part of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, popularly known as Muthoot Blue.
Excitement for change!
As the name from “Royal Challengers Banglore” to “Royal Challengers” in social medias it seems they initially start with a name change. This creates a hype on RCB even before the IPL starts. A statement had said : As per the partnership, there will be a “jersey-front” logo placement, which will be prominent on the playing and training jersey, in-stadium integration at home matches, digital and other highly visible media platforms.
Lungi Ngidi in his short international career, which has just turned two years old. He has already recoved from a stress fracture, a side strain and a slew of hamstring niggles, the latest of which kept him out of this summer’s Test series against England.
Previously in 3rd ODI, after his first five over which costs 52 runs, he came up with a final spell of 3 for 11 runs in four overs. In the first T20I against England at Buffalo park he scatters England batsmen hope by picking three wickets in the last over and paved the way for victory. He proved his ability to play in big moments by a death bowling spell that costs England three wickets in 1st ODI.
Ngidi(Player of the match) said : “It wasn’t a great day at Johannesburg, but here it’s not over until the last ball is bowled. Run in hard as you can. hit your length, and all of a sudden their team was on the back foot. Very fast-paced game, but it’s about how you bounce back. I didn’t panic under pressure, they seemed to be cruising but my job was to get wickets.”
Ngidi credited Langeveldt
He credited Langeveldt for his mental strength,”He has had a massive impact in terms of the mental side having watched him and the way he used to bowl, he has given me a lot of confidence as a young player, knowing someone like that is now on my journey. He has made sure I back the skills that I am good at. Something like that on the back end, where maybe someone would say maybe a change of ball was needed or maybe a yorker, stick to what’s working and it worked out just well.”
Ngidi’s yorker at best
When he bowled out Moeen Ali with an yorker in the last one where an LBW missed in the previous ball made an positive impact for South Africa. England lost 7 wickets for 44 runs in just 5.4 overs, where Hendricks who had chance to bowl in the 15th over started to build pressure before Ngidi.
He added : “We know that there are a lot of fast bowlers fighting for a spot so you’ve got to be on your A game, If you’re not quite there, someone else is going to come in and do the job you’re supposed to be doing. I don’t plan on letting anyone take my spot so I am just going to keep playing as best as I can.”

South Africa vs England 1st T20I in East London, where England lose the victory in a close call. England won the toss and decide to bowl, South Africa struggled at first after losing de Kock wicket. But Bavuma and Dussen paired and provided a much needed partnership and sums up 63 runs for the second wicket. Bavuma missed a half century by seven runs and return to pavilion when he scored 43 runs off 27 balls. Jordan took three wickets in last over but missed a hat-trick.
England’s messy performance
England get down to the ground with a target of 178 to chase. Steyn, who returned to game after eleven months took Jos Buttler’s wicket and gains the position of leading wicket taker for South Africa in T20I formats.
England’s Jason Roy remains unstoppable from scoring and it seems everything under control. Jason Roy scored 22 runs in Smuts over and starts brutalising South African bowlers who had been deceived by a slower ball bouncer from Hendricks.
Both Morgan and Tom Curran were caught on the boundary needlessly. Lungi Ngidi’s final over was impressive but England’s failure to get over the line was more down to batsmen error than bowler induced. Pressure made the England batsmen to deviate from focusing in game, as they were in a need of only 7 from the last over.
In truth, things had started to go wrong earlier than the last seven deliveries. The confusion and poor game management of the middle order dogged the entire final third of England’s innings. The approach suggested a lack of clarity in what batsman were trying to do either to get a single or to for a big shots. when Moeen finally did get on strike, he advanced down the wicket and yorked himself and that added benefits for South Africa. Finally Ngidi controls the England from scoring and seized the victory with a difference of single run. This makes England to move up in their list of nearest margin defeat and also makes third against South Africa.

Eoin Morgan | England captain: Outstanding game of cricket. Experiences like these are valuable with a World Cup around the corner. Both teams left everything on the field. Losing a game by one run, you can try and make it up at some point, somewhere along the line. We didn’t take advantage of being in a commanding position. Ngidi really changed the game. Hopefully we will learn more and head to Durban on a positive note. He (Roy) is probably one of the top three batsmen in white-ball cricket we have ever produced. With the experience I have, I should have seen it through, and I’ll continue to use the method that I use, and hopefully win England more games. We’re learning a HUGE amount from each other and it’s been a very enjoyable experience in the dressing room.
Morgan told Sky Sports : “Even in a position of needing seven off the last over, with new guys coming in, we expected to win that game. But it’s a great game to play in because you get a feel for where guys are at, what skill level they can produce, and how their temperament is. So in terms of actually improving, I think it’s great for us.”
After all, it is the main area of concern for Morgan as he looks ahead to the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year

In the last over, Jordan almost had a chance for a hat-trick after uprootingPretorius(1)and B Hendricks(0). Where Steyn comes in after almost a year and strike the hat-trick wicket ball to the four line. With a run-out in the last ball while try to pick a singles South Africa ended up in 177 runs. Hendricks’s “too short and too slow” ball magic
Roy scored his fifty with a four and leads the England towards the winning but Ngidi released some special spell after Hendricks picks the Aggressive striker Roy’s wicket. Jason Roy scored 70 runs from 38 balls before he leaves a catch to the Ngidi in Hendricks’s “Too slow and Too short ” ball. All-rounder Strokes lose his wicket to the Ngidi without scoring as expected. The England captain Morgon is the only hope for them but it soon got scattered by Hendricks last ball.
With 7 needed from 6 balls, Ngidi bowled the last over with pressure but soon changed when he dismissed the Tom Curran in his second ball while try to hit a big shot. With a need of 5 from 5 Ngidi bowled out Ali and builds pressure over the England players. Last balls requires 3 to win where Steyn’s underarm calm throw grabs the winning for South Africa. England surrender to Ngidi’s spell and lost their 1st T20I with a difference of “single” run. Thus the thrilling last over match ends in favour for South Africa

Neesham and Latham gets paired after they lose their opener Nicholls and man in form Taylor. Indian bowlers struggled to control the New Zealand batsman from scoring. Player of the Match
Henry Nicholls(New Zealand)
Batting : 80 off 103 balls.
Hendry Nicholls states : To come out here and make it 3-0, which is something we wanted to achieve before the start of the series, but I guess heading into today knowing that again it’s a chance for us to put up a good performance, it’s nice to be standing here after a good run-chase. Nice to put up some partnerships (with Guptill) and obviously the way he played today to get us ahead in the run-chase and I think it was important heading into the back end, his experience at the top certainly helps me. He (Guptill) scores so quickly and I can just stand there, it’s great to play the second fiddle and really caught up on that 100-run stand. Fortunate enough throughout the series to put up a good opening stand in all three games. Nice to reflect on this moment after beating them 3-0 and looking forward to the Test series.
Clearly Ross Taylor is the key player in this whitewash ODI series. In every match when he stepped into batting dominates the ground with his aggressive play. He lose his wicket only in one match out of the three played.
After the historic win from Bangladesh in final U19 world cup against India on February 9 2020, players of both team get into dirty actions. Though Bangladesh captain Akbar Ali apologize for the actions from his team, five players have been found guilty for breaching ICC Code Of Conduct.
Md Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain and Rakibul Hasan from Bangladesh were found guilty of breaching Article 2.21. Two from India respectively Akash Singh and Ravi Bishnoi(leading wicket taker of the tournament) were charged for breaching Article 2.5.
Bangladesh players
Towhid Hridoy received a sanction of ten suspension points which equates to six demerit points.
Shamim Hossain received a sanction of eight suspension points that equates to six demerit points.
Hasan received four suspension points that equates to five demerit points.
Indian players
Akash received a sanction of eight suspension points that equates to six demerit points.
Bishnoi who took four wickets with the ball in final, receives the most demerit points than others, received five demerit points for breaching Article 2.21.
During 23rd over followed by Avishek Das’s dismissal he was found to have used language, actions or gestures which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman. It earned him two more demerit points for breaching Article 2.5 making it total of sevendemerit points for him.
The demerit points will be on the player’s record for a period of two years. A suspension point will have a player ineligible for one ODI or T20I, U19 or A team international match. As a result, whenever these players take part in their next international assignment either at the senior level or the Under 19 level, the suspension points will be applied.
ICC General Manager’s advice to young starts.
“The match was hard fought, as you would expect in an ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Final, but the elation and disappointment experienced by some players after the game spilled over into unedifying scenes that have no place in our sport,” Geoff Allardice, ICC General Manager Cricket said.“Respect is at the very heart of the spirit of cricket, and players are expected to show self-discipline, congratulate the opposition on their successes and enjoy the success of their own team.
“It is disappointing that Code of Conduct charges needed to be laid after such a closely contested match, but it is important to reinforce the standard of behavior that will be expected of these young players should they transition to senior international cricket.”
Toss : Bangladesh won the toss and elect to bowl first.

The Bangladesh captain Akbar Ali said, “As a youngster, it shouldn’t happen. In any position, in any manner, we have to show respect to the opponent, we should have respect for the game”
The U19 India captain Priyam Garg said”We were easy. We think it’s part and parcel of the game – you win some and you lose some. But their reaction was dirty. I think it shouldn’t have happened. But it’s okay,”
Akbar Ali, Bangladesh captain: “When I entered the middle, we needed a partnership. I told my partner that we shouldn’t lose a wicket. The planning was simple. We knew India would not let it easy, they’re a very challenging side. We knew it would be a difficult chase. I am a person who wants to keep things simple. In the first half of the tournament, I was not getting enough chances to bat and today I wanted to capitalise”.
Priyam Garg, India captain: “Results didn’t go our way, but very happy with the way we fought. Our guys tried their best. The toss was a factor, the wicket was a little damp. The way we played, the way we approached was very good. 215-220 would have been a very good target. We couldn’t have done much with the bowling. 177 was not a good total. Bangladesh played well too. Very good experience to play in South Africa”.
