    England won the toss and elect to bowl, India lost its second match against Australia. As in the first match England lost to India they face them for the second time in the Tri-series.

    India’s Batting

    India start the match with a good run rate in the power play but not able to gather much after that. Though Safali Verama return pavilion after scoring in single digit. The most expected player Mandhana shows her attacking strike with 45 runs off 40 includes 7×4,1×6. She lose her wicket to Brunt’s down leg ball while Amy Jones took a impressive catch with soft hands and very little time to react. Mandhana wasn’t upset as its brilliant catch either way and India lose its second wicket for 62. Captain Harmanpreet score 14 and lose her wicket in a slow ball from Shrubsole that made India to score a modest 123 runs.

    A target of 124 to chasedown England heads to batting with their captain as Heather Knight. She holds two player of the match award in this Tri-series so far. England top order players failed to show up,but Natalie Sciver’s Half century from 38 delivery managed to put team in safe zone. In 18th over where Harmanpreet Kaur dropped a catch at mid off and there’s the winning runs. Fran Wilson’s 20 off 22 balls ensure their victory and England leads the series. England put them self in strong position to reach the finals with a four wicket victory over India.

    India’s opener Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana make their way to batting. Soon the Shafali(5) got a clean bowled out and return to tent at an early stage. Jemimah Rodrigues after a single gave a catch to Nicola Carey and India lost two wicket for 16 run. Captain Harmanpreet and Mandhana plays a steady game to build a decent total but soon that plan got ineffective after the Mandhana gave the balls in hands of Carey. After the Harmanpreet’s wicket India loose two players in the same over bowled by perry that includes two duck. Australian bowlers foldup India at a low score of 103 in twenty overs.

    Australian’s maiden victory

    Australia lose its opener Alyssa Healy(1) in the first over bowled by pandey. Ashleigh Gardener and Ellye Perry make a steady run chase to ensure the win. Perry had some luck in the 12th over, beaten three times by Shikha Pandey but she did not miss any bad balls. Perry was able to chip away at the chase without unnecessary risk and scored 49 off 47 balls. Perry’s crucial 49 drags Australia towards their first win in their series. Carey finish the match with a four and enrolled Australia’s maiden win in the series.

    Australia women’s Tri series,England mark their first win by beating Australia in a super over match. After the England lost their first match against India they step into the second match seeking for a maiden win.

    In this match England slipped to 3 for 39 runs in nine overs that makes England to struggle in starting. Top order players  Amy Jones(10) Danni Wyatt(17) and Natalie Sciver(4) make way back to pavilliion within first 10 overs. After the first three wicket down,the unstoppable Heather Knight get back the England into game. Heather Knight join hands with Fran Wilson who is also a team mate from Western Storm. Then this duo added 115 runs where Knight hit a half-century with just 36 balls. Wilson’s unbeaten 28 off 39 balls makes England to score 156 in 20 overs.

    Australia struggled to Tie the match

    With a target of 156 Australia get into their first game. Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney starts their batting where Healy aggressively stirkes 2 fours in the first over. But soon return to the hut in very next over. Ashleigh Gardener score 16 off 20 returns to pavilion after giving a catch to Knight out side the circle. Then Mooney with her power pack performance of 65 from 45 balls shift the Australia towards the target. Annabel Sutherland accompanied with Delissa Kimmince leads the team where she added 17 off just 8 balls to tie the match.

    Super over 

    The Australian’s fight in the last over leads to the super over match. Where the Australia made 8 runs in that over, England beats them in-ease and registered their first win in this series.

    Heather Knight who scored 78 runs off 45 balls with 8×4 , 3×6 awarded the player of the match. Which is the second successive award for her in this series after the match against Indian women team.

    Women’s T20I Tri-Nation series played by India,England and Australia. The first match takes place between India and England in canberra at January 31 2020. Indian women’s team won the toss and elect to bowl first.

    England’s Batting 

    The openers of England women’s team failed to show a good start in their first match. Amy jones(1) and Danni Wyatt(4) returns to pavillion without scoring a big number for their team. The Heather Knight score 67 from just 44,Tammy Beaumont(37) and Natalie Sciver(20). That makes a total of 147 in the alloted twenty over. Rajeshwari Gayakwad of India uproot 2 wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs.

    With a target of 147 from 20 overs Indian women’s team started their batting.     In accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel. That relates to minimum over-rate offences, players are fined 20 per cent of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the assigned time.

    Virat’s reaction

    Match referee Chris Broad who is also a member of ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees. He impose the sanction as the team India found to be four overs short. An ICC release said “Kohli pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction”. So there was no need for a formal hearing. Thereby On-field umpires Shaun Haig and Langton Rusere, third umpire Bruce Oxenford and fourth umpire Chris Brown leveled the charges.

    This is India’s third successive fine for maintaining the slow over rate against New Zealand. India lose the first ODI,its opener Hitman Rohit Sharma and also have a Hat-Trick in fine. Therefore in the upcoming 2nd ODI(February 8) of the three-match series scheduled to be played at the Eden Park in Auckland which would be a challenging for India to keep their time management in bowling.     A year out from the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia, Southern Stars wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy has set a new world record for the highest catch of a cricket ball.

    Alyssa Healy Australian Women’s Wicket Keeper set the  World Record with the presence of Pete Fairbairn – GWR Adjudicator.

    As per the records, the previous record for highest catch of a cricket ball is 62 Metres which was set by Kristan Baumgartner in the United Kingdom in 2016. Nearly on the same year, former England Cricket Captain Nasser Hussain set the previous mark of 49 Metres.

    The plan is to send the drone up holding the ball and drop it from the particular height. The Official Attempt started with 64 Metres as an initial mark. Alyssa Healy doesn’t carry ball on her first attempt, the ball left his gloves on finger tips. But she got it right on her second attempt.

    Next them aim to challenge the height of 70 Metres. She just got the catch perfectly on the first attempt and makes it look so easy.

    But again she wanted to challenge the height of 80 Metres which will the height of stadium lights. We know that it’s not so easy to catch a ball from that height and the variation will be more compared to the previous heights.

    Unfortunately, everyone was excited to see the first attempt and she misjudged the ball and left it on finger tips. That should have hurted her bad but she want to try it again. She is ready and ball is not at 80 metres top.

    In the second attempt for a 80 Metres Catch, she again dropped it and got bit disappointed. As there are only 3 valid attempts allowed on Guinness World Record break and she is ready to get her final attempt for a 80 metre catch.

    Finally, she got it well on the final attempt and breaks the Guinness World Record by catching a Cricket Ball from 82.5 Metres.

    Series Overview

    Series started well for Australia with a thumping case of 255 runs with a 10 wicket remaining during the 1st ODI on Jan 14, Tuesday at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. David Warner was presented as “Man of the Match” for his brilliant batting of 128 runs in 112 balls with strike rate 114.29.

    Indian team showed a strong comeback in the 2nd ODI winning by 36 runs. After some brilliant start from Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul gave India a superb finishing with his unbeaten 80 runs in 52 balls with strike rate 153.85. It gave India a good total to restrict them back. Lokesh Rahul was presented as “Man of the Match” for his wonderful strike at the end.

    The 2nd ODI of the series won by India and it made the 3rd ODI as a series decider. After a much excited match India won the series decider by 7 wickets. Rohit Sharma was presented with “Man of the Match” and Virat Kohli with “Man of the Series”.

I would love to be a part of the World Cup, it’s obviously at home in Australia. I was involved in the ODI World Cup here in 2015 and had the most amazing six-weeks of my cricketing career and loved every minute of it. So yeah would love to be involved in another World Cup at home for sure!”

    Asked him that, whether he have any plan to implement new shots or training during his IPL session this year under Rajasthan Royals, he replied as

    “Ah, don’t want to try too much different. I don’t really know, maybe a bit more bowling perhaps, but then that takes time away from my batting. So yeah, it’s a difficult one but we’ll wait and see,”

    When interesting question arises about Kohli’s skills in leadership and batting, he replies as

    “Yeah, he is terrific. His batting numbers just speak for themselves. I think he’s an incredible player in all three formats and I think we will see him break many records. He’s already broken plenty of them and I see him breaking many more over the years. He has got the hunger for runs and doesn’t stop getting them. Hopefully he can stop getting them against Australia, that’ll be nice. As a captain he’s already made India the number one side in the world in Test cricket. From what I have seen he sets really good standards for them. He is a lot about fitness and is health conscious and things like that. He’s got the Indian side into a really good place and leads them exceptionally well,”

    During World Cup 2019, Virat Kohli asked the fans to cheer up and support Steve Smith. While asking about that to Steve, he replied back as

    “In the World Cup it was really nice of Virat to do what he did. He did not have to do that and yeah it was a lovely gesture and really appreciated that”
