Due to the out break of corona virus many sports event have been postponed globally. One of the Indians favorite sport “Cricket” too faces the same. Many scheduled matches have been postponed, includes IPL, New Zealand tour of Australia,South Africa tour of India, Australia women’s tour of South Africa women’s.
IPL postponed
IPL- the most awaited tournament has been postponed to April 15 from March 29 and in oscillation regards execution. BCCI made this announcement after the meeting with IPL franchise. After this decision the IPL owners had a conference call and come out with a heart breaking decision.

Men’s T20 World cup
One of the biggest event ICC T20 World Cup 2020 has been scheduled later this year in Australia. Despite of the corona spread The ICC confirmed that the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia will “go ahead as scheduled” on Tuesday (March 17).
The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 scheduled to start from October 18 till November 15 across seven iconic venues in Australia.
“In response to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Local Organising Committee is monitoring the situation closely with relevant authorities, and will continue to do so,” ICC said in a statement.

“The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place from 18 October – 15 November 2020 in seven venues across Australia. We are planning for the event to go ahead as scheduled,” the statement added.
Previously Australia host the Women’s T20 world cup, Where hosts took the trophy by beating India in Finals on the International women’s day(March 8) at Melbourne.
