Mohammed Azharuddeen (born 22 March 1994) born in Thalangara, Kerala as the seventh son of the family got his name from his elder brother who is a big fan of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.
Being a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper Azharuddeen still awaits to make his international debut. Azharuddeen made his first-class debut on 15 November 2015 in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy.
Azharuddeen has been roped by RCB in IPL 2021 Auction for his base price of Rs. 20 Lakhs and will play under his favourite player Virat Kohli.

- Mohammad Azharuddeen made his first-class debut on November 15, 2015 against Goa in the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy tournament.
- He made his List A debut on 10 December 2015 in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
- He made his Twenty20 debut on 2 January 2016 in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
- In August 2018, he was one of five players that were suspended for three games in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy, after showing dissent against Kerala’s captain, Sachin Baby.
- On 13 January 2021, Azharuddeen became the first batsman for Kerala to score a century in a T20 match.
- Azharuddeen scored his century from 37 balls which is the second-fastest century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy.
- Azharuddeen made the third-fastest 100 in T20 cricket by an Indian batsman.
- It was also the third-highest score in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy after Shreyas Iyer and Puneet Bisht.
