The player started his cricket career as a fast bowler but did not have enough power to bowl fast and then shifted to a spinner on his coach’s advice. He completed his schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram and Don Bosco High School. He completed his graduation from Loyola College.
Manimaran Siddharth was a key contributor to the squad that clinched the 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the finals of the 2020-21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he played a crucial role in securing four wickets and had an impressive figure of 4/20.
