• His father Ashique Khan used to run the Paan shop later he joins as a financial manager in a private company.
• His mother is a housewife, Avesh Khan has a brother Asad Khan who works as a Digital Market Analyst.
• Under the guidance of his father, Avesh Khan started playing cricket at a very young age. Notably, his father used to play cricket at the local level.
• Avesh Khan joined the Indore Colts Cricket Club at the age of 14.

Domestic Career

• Avesh Khan got selected in the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Team in 2014. Avesh Khan made his first-class debut against Railways in the 2014-15 Ranji Trophy at Delhi.
  • • Avesh Khan in his debut match picked 2 wickets and scored 14 runs in the first innings of the match. In the second innings, Avesh Khan picked 1 wicket under his name. The match resulted in a draw.
• In the Tri-series U19 Tournament 2015-16. that preceded the World Cup 2014, Avesh showed the world that he was a force to reckon with.
  • • In the tournament beginner match, when Dravid-coached U-19 were skittled for 158 by Bangladesh U-19, Avesh bailed his team out.
    • He decimated Bangladesh’s top-order and led India to an 82-run victory. He bowled three maidens in the match and scalped four wickets at 0.66 economy rate.
    • He concluded the tournament as the highest wicket-taker by scalping 6 wickets in the 3 matches in he played. Notably, India won the series by 7 wickets with 219 balls remaining to bowl.

ODI

• In January 2022, Khan was named in India’s One Day International (ODI) and T20I squads for their home series against the West Indies.

T20I

• In November 2021, he was named in India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against New Zealand.
• The following month, he was named in India’s T20I squad for their series against Sri Lanka.
• He made his T20I debut on 20 February 2022, for India against the West Indies.

Test

• In January 2021, he was named as one of five net bowlers in India’s Test squad for their series against England.
• In May 2021, he was also named as one of four standby players in India’s Test squad for the final of the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship and their away series against England.

World Cup

• Avesh Khan was a part of the 2014 under-19 World Cup team in UAE. He figured only in a couple of games in that tournament and picked one wicket.
